You should read the USA Today article. After carefully reviewing the suggested five-step receptive skills lesson format in section 7.2, write a list of procedures for using this article. We will get you started by providing your lead-in. Continue by completing the remaining steps. Provide as much detail as possible for what the teacher and students will do.
1st step, Lead-in – I ask students if they have ever been on a flight that was uncomfortable. After getting an idea or two – bad weather, crying babies, etc. – I will ask them to talk to their partner about an uncomfortable flight. What was the problem? They discuss for 5 minutes.
